Von Borstel Friesians is a small family run breeding farm situated on 20 acres in rural Suwannee County Florida.
It is our goal to breed horses that are well suited for sport, the trail as well as a member of your family. Because we are a small operation, we can spend the necessary time needed to train our horses. We imprint all of our foals, teach them to stand tied, lead, lift their feet, trailer load and stand to be washed.
We believe that our horses are what they eat thus a large emphasis is put on nutrition. We feel that to deliver beautiful, healthy foals, the broodmares need to be on a feed regimen that focuses on the special nutritional needs of the broodmare, her fetus, and the growing foal.
